How We
Use AI

Designing AI so humans rise with it, not fall under it. At Bettroi, we build AI systems for real businesses with real people behind them. We want technology to reduce drudgery, not dignity.

Our Promise

At Bettroi, we build AI systems for real businesses with real people behind them. We want technology to reduce drudgery, not dignity. History is full of examples where powerful tools made products cheaper and lives harder. Power looms did it to weavers. AI can do the same to today’s knowledge workers if we are careless. This policy is our promise that Bettroi will not repeat that story.

This policy is our promise that Bettroi will not repeat history’s mistakes.

Our Four Principles

Everything we build is shaped by four principles:

  • AI is a tool, not a boss. AI supports human judgment — it does not replace it. Decisions that matter stay with people.
  • People create value. Skills, relationships, and ethics live with people, not with models. The value in any business is the people.
  • Transparency builds trust. We tell you where AI is used, why, and what its limits are. No black boxes in client-facing processes.
  • Privacy is foundational. We prefer architectures where the client keeps control of their data. Cloud is a choice, not a default.

The LOOM Test

Before we deploy any AI in a client environment, we apply the LOOM Test:

L: Leverage — Does this AI amplify what people already do well? · O: Ownership — Do people still own the outcomes? · O: Options — Does this keep options open or create lock-in? · M: Mobility — Can people take their skills with them if the tool changes?

If the answer to any of these is “no,” we redesign before we deploy. This test is not a checklist — it is a conversation that happens throughout the project, not only at the end.

Inside Bettroi: How We Use AI

We use AI every day for: drafting, summarising, analysing, automating repetitive tasks, and research. We do not use AI to: make final decisions, replace client relationships, or produce work we are not willing to review and own.

The Full Policy

#
Area
Our Position
L
Leverage
AI amplifies what people already do well · we look for leverage, not replacement
O
Ownership
People still own the outcomes · AI assists, it does not decide
O
Options
We design for flexibility, not lock-in · you should be able to leave any system we build
M
Mobility
People can take their skills with them if the tool changes · we do not build dependency traps
5
Inside Bettroi
Draft · summarise · analyse · automate · research — all reviewed and owned by a human
6
People Still Own
Context · strategy · final decisions · responsibility — always with the human
7
Data Principles
Use only what is needed · privacy-preserving architectures · avoid mixing client data with public pipelines
8
What We Will Not Do
Cut humans out · spy unfairly · manipulate · hide machine as human · overstate AI capabilities

Our Commitment to Clients

We tell you where AI is used, why, and what its limits are. We highlight how roles and workflows will change. We design for flexibility, not lock-in. If we think AI is not the right tool for your context, we will say so.

If you want AI that is powerful on the outside
and humane on the inside,
we would be glad to design it with you.
