How We Use AI
Bettroi AI Ethics and People Policy

Designing AI so humans rise with it,
not fall under it.

At Bettroi, we build AI systems for real businesses with real people behind them. We want technology to reduce drudgery, not dignity.

History is full of examples where powerful tools made products cheaper and lives harder. Power looms did it to weavers. AI can do the same to today’s knowledge workers if we are careless.

This policy is our promise that Bettroi will not repeat that story.

Our beliefs about AI

The core principles that guide every line of code we write.

AI is a tool, not a boss

AI should support human judgment, not quietly replace it wherever possible.

People create value

Skills, relationships, and ethics live with people. AI can speed things up, but it cannot care.

Efficiency is not enough

We care about:

  • Better experiences
  • Better decisions
  • Better lives for people

Transparency builds trust

Clients and users deserve to know where AI is used, what it can do, and what it cannot do.

Privacy is foundational

If we cannot protect data and consent, we do not build it.

How we use AI inside Bettroi

We follow a simple rule.
AI should compress low-value work and create space for high-value work.

Inside Bettroi, we use AI to:

  • Draft, summarise, and analyse content
  • Explore ideas and solution options
  • Automate repeatable workflows
  • Support research and discovery

People still:

  • Own context and strategy
  • Make final decisions
  • Take responsibility for outcomes

We encourage every Bettroi team member to move up the value chain. From “doing tasks” to “designing systems and decisions with AI in the loop”.

How we design AI for clients

When we design an AI solution for a client, we look at three things:

Business impact

  • Can this improve revenue, margin, speed, or quality in a clear way
  • Can we measure it

People impact

  • Which roles and tasks will change
  • How those people can be upskilled, redeployed, or given better tools
  • How to make work more meaningful, not just faster

Risk and responsibility

  • Where AI is safe to automate
  • Where a human must always stay in the loop
  • How to keep a clear line of accountability

Every significant proposal from Bettroi includes a section on “People and Change”. Not just “Tech and Features”.

Our AI “LOOM” test

We use a simple test for any AI initiative. If an initiative fails this test, we push back or redesign it. If it still fails, we walk away.

L

Leverage

Does AI reduce low-value manual effort and free humans for higher-level work

O

Ownership

Who owns the data, the models, and the upside. Can the client switch or move their data if needed

O

Options

Does this give workers more options in their career, or trap them in weaker roles

M

Mobility

Do the new skills and tools travel with the person, or are they locked into one vendor

Data, privacy, and model use

When we work with client data, we follow these guidelines:

  • Use only the data that is needed for the defined outcome
  • Prefer privacy-preserving and region-compliant setups (for example, data residency in India or the UAE where required)
  • Explain clearly where data is stored and how models are used
  • Avoid mixing sensitive client data into public training pipelines

We prefer architectures where:

  • The client keeps control over their data
  • AI components are swappable when technology or vendors change
  • Logs and decisions can be audited

What we will not do

There are some lines we do not cross.

  • Build AI systems that are designed only to cut humans out, with no transition or support
  • Use AI to spy on employees or customers in ways they would find unfair or deceptive
  • Build systems that are meant to manipulate vulnerable users into bad decisions
  • Hide machine output and present it as “a human” when that matters for trust and consent
  • Overstate what AI can do or promise “magic” outcomes

If a project conflicts with these points in a serious way, Bettroi will decline it.

If you work with Bettroi, what you can expect

Clarity on use of AI

We tell you where AI is used, why, and what its limits are.

A people-aware design

We highlight how roles and workflows will change. We often suggest training, new responsibilities, and new role shapes for your team.

A focus on long-term value

We design for flexibility, not lock-in where possible. We want your organisation to keep learning and adapting, not be trapped.

Honest conversations

If we think AI is not the right tool for your context, we will say so. If expectations are unrealistic, we will reset them with you.

Our simple promise

At Bettroi, we believe in intelligent technology that respects human effort.

AI will change how work is done in every industry.
We choose to build that future in a way that keeps humans at the centre.

If you want AI that is powerful on the outside and humane on the inside, we would be glad to design it with you.
